How can I fix a shorted cigarette lighter adapter? - cigarette lighter adapter radiation cataract

I think it is a 12V adapter in my 2000 GM short. It has not worked since I bought the vehicle. What is the cheapest way to go is the best way to solve the problem. I do not have any blown fuses and other electrical problems. Thanks

The first thing to consider is if the power in the middle of the device. If there is power and decision-making does not work, you must issue a country. If you do not have the power, if a fuse is blown or a loose cable.

Tighten up the plugs and make sure that the cable is connected from the plains. Check the power to the hot wire and continuity on the floor! If you are good, replace the assembly takes place!

If you have no power, it must again follow the hot wire to the circuit failure!

A little confused. If the cigarette lighter is the problem then no short or it would blow a fuse. An adapter 12 volts would be similar. You need a light meter or test to see if they have the power of the compound in the center socket. If no connection V, then a broken cable was the problem. Auto Parts Store Zone or similar test for you.
